The Cocked Hat features three rooms, open fires, great pies and beer. What more could you ask for?
The Cocked Hat sits opposite St Mary’s church and the Traditional Grade 2 listed Market Hall, as the only remaining pub on Stockport’s famous Rostron Brow, a steep alley which used to house the inns and houses of ill repute in the 18th and 19th centuries.
The deeds on the wall show the pubs history dating back to 1750!
With local ales from around the area, and fantastic chatty staff, live sport and regular entertainment, the Hat has become a firm favourite on the Stockport scene.
